About The Elder Scrolls® Online Standard Edition
Set in a fantasy world of Tamriel, The Elder Scrolls Online (ESO) is a multiplayer online role-playing game, where players explore, quest, and battle with friends or solo. This game consists of a storyline indirectly connected with the other games in the Elder Scrolls franchise. The game is an amalgamation of quests, random events, and free-roaming exploration of the world. The game begins in the Wailing Prison in Coldharbour, a place ruled by the Prince Molag Bal, where the player character’s soulless husk is enslaved. Hence, The Elder Scrolls tradition of starting the game with the character in prison continues here too.
